17.27 Friday evening the Norwegian police got a phone call about a man shooting youths on a small island outside Oslo. The youths where there on a summer camp arranged AUF - Assyrian youth. Total panic broke loose on the island when the man, dressed up as a police officer, started shooting every youth he saw. People fled in sheer panic and the shooter followed as the youths fled through the camp and out in the forest- trying to hide beneath rocks and behind trees and branches. Many jumped in the ocean in an attempt to swim to the mainland, 400 metres away. Meanwhile the man continued to shoot against everyone he saw, those in the woods as well as those in the water.
In half an hour over 80 people died. A total number of 92 people has been confirmed dead by the Norwegian police, but still there is many youths missing.
I woke up today hearing my aunt talk about this and I was just... Startled. As my mother said; it's just like a bad movie only that real humans died this time. I can't say much else than that this is a god damn sick and unfair world!
Today all my thoughts, love and hope goes to beautiful Norway and all the victims and their families. From the bottom of my heart I wishes that the still missing youths is found alive. This is a sad day for many and I hope everyone respects that.
All my love to all you strong people.
Maybe not such a bright subject to start of my blog with, but... Yeah.
